By class time on Wednesday, May 8: Assignment 3 Materials (Drafted)

• Have drafted each written portion of your assignment 3 project.
• Each group member should write 3-4 pages towards the project.
• Send me a URL for a website to house the project’s materials by this date.
• If you intend to do extra credit work, let me know by this date as well.

On Monday 5/13 BY NOON: Presentation materials

• Email me a link to all of your presentation materials.
• The order of presentations will be selected at random.

Monday 5/13 and Wednesday 5/15: Presentations

• Plan a 10-minute presentation.
• Develop your presentation towards its intended audience of potential investors.
• Each group member should have a role in the presentation.
• If you are using slides, please use a maximum of FIVE slides.
• Use a minimal amount of text on slides—one phrase or so each (no paragraphs).
• Write a short script to use—adapted from your assignment 3 writing. I tend to just BOLD words and phrases where the next slide should come.
• Place all other materials—samples, other extra credit—on your site.

Please Note: It is much more common for students to present for too long than for too little. Less is more—just be prepared to dig further down in Q&A.

FINAL PORTFOLIOS: I’ll need them by TUESDAY, 5/21 at the absolute latest. I will not accept any late portfolio submissions. Unfortunately, I have to have them before I leave the country, and grades are due while I’m away. I’d wanted to give you more time, but this is the situation as per when my grades are due to CUNYfirst.
