Welcome back! It’s Module 5—the last one! It’s got way fewer pages than the other modules. Its focus will be on wrapping up the course and reflecting on what you’ve done, as well as what you’ve learned from each other.

I’ll say now it’s been a pleasure to serve you and try my best to practice an honest and open pedagogy at a vulnerable time in our society’s history, amid the pandemic. Students and professors both face difficult challenges ahead and a series of unanswered questions, so here we are, headed into the unknown together.
You are invited to stay in touch, and I encourage you to contact me at any time after this class is over—if you need to talk, if you find yourself lost in the forest of classes and school, or if you want a recommendation (both in terms of a “rec letter” and in terms of something lower stakes like a song, film, game, story, essay, or other media inspiration).
With that said, here we go:
Module 5: Learning objectives.
- Explore revision as part of the writing process.
- Reflect on the experience of the class.
- Begin assembling the Final Portfolio and review its required components.
- Review Blog 5 prompt—including viewing peers’ Assignment 3 entries—and begin the entry.
