Jo(anna) Thompson (she/they) is an artist, educator, librarian, and social scientist interested in the history of higher education, the impact of policing and militarism on schools, ethical (ed) tech, transformative justice in education, and critical pedagogy. Their work takes the form of zines, oral history interviews, paintings, and writing. They are an adjunct librarian at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and the New York City College of Technology and an Educational Technologist at Baruch College.
