Montaigne does a brilliant job explaining how a persons imagination can shape so much of how their life is viewed. Similar to the psychology of our brains and bodies, Montaigne shows that when someone thinks of themselves in a certain manner, they are doing a certain thing to themselves without even physically attempting to do it.

I agree with you. Montaigne does a great work to explain the power of imagination. He uses a variety of stories to convince readers that imagination is very powerful. Imagination can make people sick, but it can sometimes cure diseases. We should know that imagination can have both positive impacts and negative impacts on people.
