    Kayla,

Nice job! I think 2 and 3 are your most specific, so I’d go with whatever you feel happier about. In number 2, it looks like a “reader response” essay, which may be a bit trickier to write. Number 3 is more straightforward, but it’s really your call. Also, just a small comment, you will want to say “eternal beauty” not “eternalness of beauty” (a bit awkward).

    10/10

First of all, great work. I think all your thesis statements offer plenty of discussion for an essay however, I believe your third thesis would likely be most effective. I think the third statement is very accurate and to the point, allowing you to develop an essay that is both direct and clear. Also, I alluded to how the second person narratove enhances the reader’s experience as well, by giving this “dream-like experience” that you mention. Definitely a call on your part, but, I just felt like with the first thesis there may not be as much to speak about, and in the second, it may be diffucult to remain on task. Good luck!

All of these thesis statements are very specific and well thought out. I think that the most narrow and interesting thesis statement is your third one. I think you could write the most about this topic, even though it is very specific. The use of second person is used throughout the story and the reader does feel like they are in a dream-like experience. There are many quotes and examples you could use for this topic because it is constant throughout the entire story. You could compare, instead, how the narrator himself lives in a dreamlike scenario and how he sees himself if you wanted to focus on one character.
