    Nicely thought out!
I think your third option is your most specific, and the one that will also give you more to explore. Here, you can look at how both Consuelo and Felipe “enable” each others’ fantasies, in order to achieve, as you interpret it, true happiness. You could actually just focus on that, if you like, and not include the second person, which, although making your exploration more interesting/challenging, could also make it more difficult to keep focused.
    10/10

Great job Kelly! I thought all three of your thesis statements were very well written. The third one is the best one in my opinion. It is the most specific of the bunch and the most clear. This thesis statement makes it obvious where you want to go in your essay. I agree with what the Professor said about exploring how Consuelo and and Felipe enable each other, which goes back to the discussion we had in class about the two of them being almost “delusional” to find happiness.
