Assignment 12

December 5, 2015 Written by | 1 Comment

  1. In Franz Kafkas’ The Metamorphosis, Gregors unconditional love from his family is tested as he goes through this transformation that has not only changed him physically but mentally as well.
  2. Metamorphosis is the profound change of the nature of a person into one completely different, and we saw this in Gregor as he changed into a cockroach as well as this human spirit that he have come to love.
  3. The more aware and accepting you are with your situation, the more at ease one will feel. Gregors acceptance of change is the change that he always needed.

    Joseph, nice work!
Your first and your third seem to be your most effective, I think. In the first, I would focus on one family member, rather than all of them. This way, the essay is likely to be much more specific. In the third, you would need to specify, even in your thesis, what, exactly, that change was for Gregor (in other words, what his transformation really meant for him).
