The failure of Gregor’s business has left Gregor’s father exhausted and emotionally broken, and he is forced to return to work again after Gregor’s metamorphosis. Despite the beneficial effects his new employment has on him, he expresses considerable hostility toward Gregor.The chief clerk Is trustful and overbearing, the office manager insinuates that Gregor has been doing a poor job at work. He flees in terror upon seeing Gregor. He is not happy about the things that Gregor had to face to get to that point.

I disagree with your point on Gregor’s father showing extreme hostility. I think his father was trying to handle the situation as best as he possibly could. i don’t this he was trying to be outright hostile to his son or show any negative emotions to him on purpose but he needed to round up Gregor as best he could to keep him out of harms way.

I understand how Gregor’s father doesn’t like how Gregor has ended up looking distraught and such, but I don’t think the father would go to the extent of being emotionally broken. He knows he can trust his son if time allows it. As for the chief clerk, Gregor had always tried his best at work, but just through one day of not coming on time, he disregarded everything Gregor had done.

Yes, these are two fundamental reactions from each character, and you are right to point to both the father’s hostility and his emotional exhaustion, as the father is not nearly as simplistic as he seems.
You need to try to become more focused in your responses, though, and using quotations (as the instructions asked) will help you to do this, I think
