I actually liked your second thesis better because it was more descriptive and focuses on the point you are trying to make. The first one is straightforward and less descriptive. But i agree with you when you said that women caters to men in “The Life of Sensuous Women”. She clearly serves for the men rather than herself,  especially in the first story where she stays with the domain lord even though the sex is terrible and she is unhappy.
