- Is there similarities and differences between Bartleby in “Bartleby the Scrivener” and Georg in “the Judgement”? By using Campbell’s Heroic Journey (Traditional Hero, Anti-Hero, and Satanic Hero), compare the two main characters.
- Does Gregor’s family in the “Metamorphosis” merely hate Gregor’s physical appearance? Is there anything the family does not see or does not want to see like the prisoners who do not see the outside world in the “Plato’s Allegory of the Cave“?

Jiwoo, both questions you provided are great. I do think however, that the first one is better than the second one. In your first question, you use two texts to incorporate an analytical question about the Heroic Journey model. The Heroic Journey model is a model that works great with both of these texts you chose. For your second question, the model you use of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave is a great model to use as well. I do think though that the story of Metamorphosis has more to it than Gregor’s physical appearance. Perhaps, instead of having the question focus on his physical appearance, we can eliminate that and have the question focus on the families reaction and how the Allegory of the Cave relates to that. Both are great questions.
