Blind from the truth around me

I was deceived

Because everyone lied to me

Thought I knew all there is needed to know

But its in dark in this room

It makes it harder to see

Yet the truth is now

Shining in this dark abyss

Which makes it easier to see

As I shed a tear from disbelief

I am relieved I am now aware

No longer will I live a life of despair

Now I can understand using all my senses

And all I needed to do was put on my contact lenses
