My proposal for my digital essay is to undergo an analysis of The Message by Grandmaster Flash. The song a strong controversial song of early hip hop talks about large social issues that include poverty education government drugs and more. Since it talks about so many topics I cannot focus on every part of the song. My paper and my digital essay will show what the effects of white flight are. White flight has been a term that originated in the United States, starting in the mid-20th century, and applied to the large-scale migration of whites of various European ancestries from racially mixed urban regions to more racially homogeneous suburban regions. Which meant neighborhoods that are considered ghettos now were once flourishing regions. Yet when white americans all at the same time decide to get up and leave with their businesses, tax dollars, and their assets it devalues the whole land. African americans and other minorities are left there and face terrible dangers that to this day still occur as an affect of white flight. As a result of white flight The Message talks about the negative effects of white flight it such as homicide, rape, drug use and more. This limits a person’s ability in the area to expand and have more choices for a brighter future. It enables them to think this is the only place they will ever stay and survival, thus all the reasons why all the social problems occur.

For my video I have decided to use a friend in video where i will take slowed down video footage of everyday life in the subways and outside in certain areas effected by white flight. The person in my video will be wearing shabby clothes. But the same person will go into very rich neighborhoods that the whites migrated to, yet instead of wearing shabby clothes its professional showing two scenarios of the same person in two different areas. It will show the difference in the quality of life in each area and strongly depict special meanings of the message.

me and ryan were talking about the legality of alcohol and tobacco and I inferred to this:

Tobacco and Alcohol are legal because they kill people and help keep depopulation in the world, this weeds out a good percentage because it kills them and are some of the few components that are meant to depopulate us. Such as fast food, why is it so available in every city, state but the ratio of that to healthy food joints are way higher. Obviously this can be seen as a conspiracy it actually makes more sense because it applies in real life situations.

Even referring to my last post about the flurioude being in our water could be a way to depopulate the earth.

the government puts flurioude in nearly every beverage including bottled and tap water, it flurioude destroys our pineal gland which is the only part of the body which isnt symmetrical from left to right, since we raised in a society which implements it into all of our water it is embedded into our body and blood. flurioude calcifies the pineal gland making it older and weaker much faster than it should normally, very interesting read the only way to reverse this is to consume only distilled water flurioude free toothpaste etc. can you adapt to this kind of lifestyle in order to save ur body from calcification?

In Plato’s, Republic,in the beginning of the book, the allegory of the cave is a scene where Socrates is painting a vivid picture verbally to one of his followers named Glaucon. He tries to philosophy an analogy between prisoners chained in a cave and most men in everyday life. Socrates explains that when a man is given true insights he cannot handle the truth therefore forcing him into a world of ignorance blinded by the absolute truth to continue his own mistaken ways. He compares this to the men in chains because they are chained in such a way that if they move the opposite way it will start pulling on their skin, yet the light and the right path is just right behind them. The “light” is actually a light in Socrates vision, a grand fire. Those whom take the initial step to actually face the light and walk towards it is enlightened and facing truth. Then he continues on about shadows and other visuals of animals and such, that the ones who were not curious to find out what they were, were uneducated. Those who seek the whereabouts of these strange shadows were one willing to educate themselves to further understand. Then therefore the thirst to educate oneself should not stop and those whom seek it even more will start seeing even more clear and have heaven like visions. Yet, he is simply explaining strongly metaphorically is that man who seeks for knowledge and a higher understanding of his surroundings, is enlightened and not ignorant to only which is in front of their face.
