Note: The Classic Editor that is being phased out, and will be unavailable after the end of the Fall 2022 semester. We highly encourage all users and sites to work with the Block Editor.
To enable the Classic Editor, go to your Dashboard, Settings, Writing. Change the “Default editor for all users” to “Classic editor.” Then click “Save Changes.” If you “Allow users to switch editors,” each post can be opened in either the Classic or the Block editor. This can be helpful to transition a site to the new Block editor, but can cause confusion or conflicts if used on a larger site.
