Some experiences that I will never forget are singing the National Anthem in front of my whole school at Pep Rally, Homecoming, and Battle of the Classes. Even though I was hesitant about sharing my talent in front of so many people, I overcame my nervousness with determination and performed with confidence. Therefore, I am dedicated to everything I do and I also value being independent throughout my endeavors because it pushes me to be the best version of myself. I expect that college will be difficult and that there will be many challenges along the way that I will need to face. However, it is important to stay committed to myself as well as my classes in order to strive for success. College is about a student remaining authentic while exploring himself or herself more in depth. I am excited to learn and prosper throughout my college journey; hopefully I can create memories that will last a lifetime. During the first semester, I hope to become more accustomed to virtual classes and online college overall. Although we cannot attend college in-person and experience what the city has to offer, I hope to make the most of the situation at home. I am thankful to still have the opportunity to learn from home, despite the circumstances. Additionally, I know the importance of staying organized and managing my time throughout college to avoid becoming overwhelmed. I am willing to plan out all of my tests and assignments to stay focused throughout my college journey.

It’s amazing that you were able to overcome your fear and sing in front of so many people! I also agree that there are going to be many challenges in college, but I am hopeful that we will be able to get through it eventually and learn different ways to time manage. I also hope that I will be able to make memories that will last a lifetime while here at Baruch! I’m excited to get to know you more in the future!
It’s crazy that you were able to sing in front of your whole school, that takes gut and personally I don’t believe I would be able to do the same. I’d hope schools opens up, but in the thought that it doesn’t I guess you’re right where we should make the most of our opportunities at home.
I’m glad you overcame your fear and sang in front of your whole school. Even if I had a good singing voice, I doubt I would be able to do something like that. I also hope to create some lasting college memories. Hopefully schools can open up soon, it’s harder to stay ambitious when doing everything from home.
