The butcher is typical criminal minded person who understand the game of five points and the game of politics, so he extended his connection to William tweed which explained the politic cal’s tools used to run the city. the politics joined ( William tweed joined the gang to set a destruction at different level than the old gang’s war: poverty, prostitution, fear, gabling in all kind of forms
The butcher was a clever individual as William tweed with a difference of the orientation that guided each personality. The first one was oriented by violent and ignorance but yet he knew what is meant to be an American and he also has a clear stand on the immigration issue that still a debate since then.
