UPDATE: I forgot to do a walk through in class of how to add a YouTube video to a post. As I did mention in class, I have instructed posted in the Blog Support section of this site. I want to emphasize that all you need to do is insert the URL (web address) of the video into the body of the post. You won’t see the video right away, but when you publish the post, the video will appear embedded in your post. For example, if I want to embed a video of Baruch commencement in 2009, I enter this text in my message while compsing/editing: “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcAX7KSdOWs”; when I publish it magically turns into this:
Identify an audio or video file that was released between 1989 and 2000, which you feel represents an important historical moment during that period. The video may be a song, an interview, live video footage, etc. As far as possible, be sure to credit the artist who created the video. I have added some brief instructions on how to embed a video in the Blog Support section of this site. Write 2-3 sentences explaining what the file shows and why it is important to U.S. history.
