It is very sad that there are so many people who still don’t accept other people only for the color of their skin. Martin is a great example of leadership of a person, and it was very tragic when somebody killed him only because he want to speak up his rights as a human person. However the great leaders never ere forgotten that is why Martin Luther King will be in our lives forever.

Indeed, Martin Luther King story is an interesting one. He was a humble person and cared for others. There is one event that I think was an interesting story. At the age of thirty-five he was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize. When notified of his selection, he announced that he would turn over the prize money of $54, 123 to the furtherance of the civil rights movement. It is rear that such instant donations occur back in the 50’s.

This is definitely an important event in our history as we lost one of the great fighters for our civil rights. He continued to fight for our equality not being comfortable with the circumstances that surrounded him. His dream has woken us up and we are able to see it become reality.
