Times Square Bomb Scare

I found this picture from an article wrritten by fox news about the recent times sqare bomb scare. Since 9/11 the United States has never been the same. Now, 9 years later in 2010, this recent bomb scare of times square is a reminder of how the threat of terrorism continues to exist. Since the man was unsuccessful, we are very fortunate to have escaped this dangerous plot of terrorists. Times Square is one of nyc’s most distinguished places and it is definately important that the city does whatever it can to protect it, along with everywhere else. Terrorists are continuously trying to discrupt life in America, and with the bomb scare they caused great panic and alarm. Therefore, this serves as a reminder that the United States still needs to continue its fight against terrorism regardless of any circumstances.

I agree that this brought me back the fear of terrorism I felt after 9/11.
Why are people hating each other and trying to suffer one another?
Will it end someday? well… maybe not…. but I hope it will.

I completely agree with you on we need to continue our fight against terrorism. I also feel that as a nation who will always be at the fore front of terrorism; we as a people need to start looking out for one another. We lost that somewhere. Time Square doesn’t just affect the USA it would have affected the world. Millions come to see our lights and experience our way of life, and of course the shopping. This is an issue that our kids and their kids will have to deal with. Hopefully this nation will triumph.
