Miller NAWSA Suffrage Scrapbooks, 1897-1911
The Elizabeth Smith Miller and Anne Fitzhugh Miller scrapbooks are a part of the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) Collection in the Rare Book and Special Collections Division. These scrapbooks document the activities of the Geneva Political Equality Club, which the Millers founded in 1897, as well as efforts at the state, national, and international levels to win the vote for women. This scrapbooks are proves that not only were treated unfairly ways back, but also they begun to fight their rights for ever.
This books are important because it shows that civil right movements did not start just yesterday or out of blue, but in 1800’s and till we still have some activists that are fighting for equal wages between men and women or equal job opportunities for everyone.

Watergate
Watergate was a political scandal that happened during president Nixon’s Presidency. If it wasn’t because of Wills’ allert action, the scandal wouldn’t never erupted. As a matter of fact, it wouldn’d lead to President Nixon Resignation in July 1974.
This event is when american started not beleiving their politicians. Because of it, many people lost faith and won’t event bother to vote.

Baby boomer is a generation of group that was born between 1945 and 1965 after the WWWII. It was a post war time and people were relief that the war was over. Therefore, many babies were coming into life to comfort families. This generation brought lot of changes like the way they carry or see themselves compared to other generations before them. They not only see themselves as smartest but they also adapt a life style that is kind of selfish. These changes of life style help grow the US economy as the fashion and cosmetic businesses were expending and many others industries were developing. As they willing to spending the largest part of their earning, the economy grew rapidly and the unemployment went down. Now that they are also aging, baby boobers’ retirement is becoming a problem since they are more older pople that younger to pay for their pensions and medicare.
