Congressmen Dickstein – American fascism fighter.
400 rabbis column marching in Washington to draw attention to the plight of Holocaust victims in 1943. The video of the marching rabbis will be mixed with the footage of documentary chronicles of the children in concentrate camps like Auschwitz. The melodies of Jewish lullaby will play on a background. Beautiful and calm melody will only increase and emphasize the horror of the tragedy that was happening all over the Europe. Rabbis approaching the steps of the U.S. Capitol and meeting with Senator William Warren Barbour. The voice of the main hero – Congressmen Dickstein on a background saying: « Senator William Warren Barbour was one of a handful of politicians who proposed legislation that would have allowed as many as 100,000 victims of the Holocaust to emigrate temporarrily to the United States, but unfortunately he died six weeks later after introdusing the bill and it wasn’t passed. I introdused the parallel bill in the House of Representatives, which also failed to pass. During the Holocaust, fewer than 30,000 Jews a year reached the Unted States, and some were turned away due to immigration policies. The US didn’t change its immigration policies until 1948. Because of that so many many people died, that could be saved ……»
Evolution of Freedom [1865-1945]

The Evolution of Freedom begins in 1787
One of the iconic songs based of the Woodstock concerts was “Freedom” by Richie Havens. This video highlights a freedom revolution that occurs in 1969 but is based off a culmination of events before it. My documentary shows how freedom was subjective to the American populations and had different meaning evolve for it throughout the years. Foner does make a mention of this as the chapters progress, or in our case as we looked back at history. The documentary will begin and end with this song.
Japanese Internment Camp
The video shown includes various propaganda messages to provoke fear in Americans. It is very important in giving an idea of how Americans reacted and view Japanese Americans at the time.
Parts of the video will be used in the film to provide original images of to further prove the accuracy of the film. The propaganda messages in the video will be used in the video to display how the government portrayed Japanese Americans.
The main and final message that would be conveyed in the movie is that America is a nation run by fear and through fear America do horrible acts on others.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Coral_Sea
The Coral Sea battlis is one of major naval battle in South Pacific ocean near Australia during WWII. After the U.S had been attacked in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, by imperial Japanese forces, The U.S and its Allies got into World War. While Japanese military forces invaded Tulagi in Southeasterrn island, the U.S naval and air forces attacked the Japanese aircraft carriers in May 4, 1942. Even though there was tactical victory that made the enemy’s ships sink by bombing, the war would not end up until Japan got totally destroyed later on.

I Don’t Want To Set the World on Fire
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7AZIvDD5Lw
This here is a piece of music that I would put in my movie. My movie will be about the stock market crash and the struggles of people living during the time. While this song was made in the 40’s, I feel the tone and sound can be matched to my movie. It’s very mellow and slow and would fit with the feelings of people at that time.

This video is about Pearl Harbor which happened on Dec 7 1941. It is at the begining of my screenplay. Pearl Harbor is a very important turning point in American history because it made United States directly involve in World War II and created Japanese Internment camp which impaired Japanese-American physically and emotionally. Also, Pearl Harbor is an important turning point which pushed discrimination wave into a high point under United States governmental power.
