Hitler before we Knew Him
This is a picture of Hitler as a soldier. It conveys how he is no different than any other soldier and went through what everyone else went. What differentiates him and turns him into the Hitler we know today must be determined by the viewers since there in so right answer.

I Don’t Want To Set the World on Fire

This here is a piece of music that I would put in my movie. My movie will be about the stock market crash and the struggles of people living during the time. While this song was made in the 40’s, I feel the tone and sound can be matched to my movie. It’s very mellow and slow and would fit with the feelings of people at that time.

Black Wall Street
This portion of the movie explains that it was not considered a crime to lynch a black in the United States during the Jim Crow era. The message that I’m conveying the audience is that blacks Americans experiences were unique in the United States ; they had endured all kind of atrocities in this land of freedom .African Americans were victims of a system that condemned blackness.

Flappers
[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/3svvCj4yhYc" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" /]
The flappers of the 1920s marked the beginning of a revolution of women. During this time, women ditched their conservative feminine looks and went for clothing, makeup and hairstyles that were a far cry from the norm and considered inappropriate at the time. Young women asserted their freedom by voting, driving cars, dancing, drinking, smoking cigarettes, staying out late, and going to “petting parties”.
Flappers of the 1920s are possibly best known for their style. At a time when corsets, long hair and long gowns were the norm, flappers introduced a more boyish look. Young women showed off their legs in short skirts, chopped their hair off into short bobs and wore excessive amounts of makeup. Kohl-rimmed eyes and bee-stung lips set the flappers apart from the rest. Accessories included newsboy caps, cloche hats, layered necklaces and horn-rimmed glasses. High heels came into fashion and dresses were often drop-waisted and knee-length to show off just enough leg when flappers danced.
This video depicts what life was like for a flapper.

Roosevelt Corollary
The Roosevelt Corollary was an additional policy to Monroe Doctrine by U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt in 1904. It showed that U.S. have the right to exercise “an international police power”in the Western Hemisphere against European intervention. The Roosevelt administration encouraged American banks to invest into Dominican Republic, Cuba and Costa Rica, and he believed economic control was the best way to spread American values. And this policy influenced economy and politics of these small countries a lot.

New Mexico and Arizona become states, 1912
President Taft signing the proclamation establishing Arizona as a state on February 14, 1912
establishing Arizona as a state
New Mexico became a state on January 6, 1912, and Arizona became a state on February 14, 1912. Thus, two stars were added to our flag in 1912 on July 4th signifying that two new states were added to the 46-star flag then. That flag lasted exactly 47 years from July 4, 1912, through July 4, 1959.

Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle
The Jungle is a 1906 novel written by journalist Upton Sinclair. Sinclair wrote the novel to highlight the plight of the working class and to show the corruption of the American meatpacking industry during the early-20th century. The novel depicts in harsh poverty, absence of social programs, unpleasant living and working conditions, and hopelessness prevalent among the working class, which is contrasted with the deeply-rooted corruption on the part of those in power.
The book was a key piece of literature that led to the Food and Drug Act and helped to shine light on the terrible conditions in the Chicago meat-packing district.

San Francisco Earthquake 1906
I choose this document because I think it was very important for the American people. We can see how the American people are enduring with so many natural disaster, that we have been facing in our history. I can’t image how the people from san Francisco suffered this disaster but in the same time these people become stronger and stronger. In this earthquake died almos 3000 people, even thought it was in different circunstances and differen time, but remaind me what we faced in New York in 2001. I jus want to add that all these crisis make us stronger and I hope that with better hearts,
