Bill Clinton

William Jefferson “Bill” Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001. At 46 he was the third-youngest president. He became president at the end of the Cold War, and is known as the first baby boomer president.
He is a graduate from Yale Law School. He is married to Hillary Clinton and has daughter Chelsea Clinton.  During the administration of William Jefferson Clinton, the U.S. enjoyed more peace and economic well being than at any time in its history.
President Clinton visited India in 2000 the first U.S. leader in more than two decades to set foot in the world’s
largest democracy.
Clinton’s visit was taking place at a time of warming of relations between the two countries, and reflects the common desire of both countries to move towards a new, broad-based, forwardlooking, politically constructive and economically productive partnership. The threat of terrorism faced by both countries from the same source has added a new dimension to India-US cooperation”

Bill Clinton Signs NAFTA (1993)

Bill Clinton signed into the North America Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico on December 8, 1993. It is hard to evaluate the pros and cons of NAFTA. What’s interesting about this agreement for me is that countries which have different cultures and sizes of economic achieved an economic integration.

Bill Clinton helping Haiti

I liked this pictures because show us how some people are and will be a great leaders forever. This picture made me think about the sensitivity of some people. The Haitians will have Bill Clinton in their hearts forever. I ask me self maybe if Clinton was another person, maybe he was playing golf, but Thanks God it was Bill Clinton.

Israeli-Palestinian Agreement September 13, 1993

On September 13, 1993, Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat signed a peace agreement sponsored by United States.

This event was important because it showed United States leadership in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Although the agreement generated a lot of hope, time has showed that the conflict is still not resolved.

Impeachment of Bill Clinton

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7721501368569649933#

On December 19, 1998, President Bill Clinton was impeached by the house of Representative. I think it is important because he was only the second impeachment of a President in American history, following the impeachment of Andrew Johnson in 1868. I think being a president, one should watch out himself’s behavior all the time as being an example of all the Americans.
