Obama’s Inauguration
This picture was taken from the Washington Post. It shows President Barak Obama being inaugurated as the 44th president of The United States. It took place on January 20, 2009, adn to his left is his wife Michelle Obama.
This is an important picture since it depicts a milestone in the US’s political and racial history. From a country that discriminated no less than 50 years ago today we have a minority as our president. An achievement every country should strive for.
