The Honors Program at Baruch comprises approximately 500 students in four cohorts: Macaulay Honors Scholars, Baruch Scholars, Provost Scholars and Inquiry Scholars. Macaulay Scholars are part of the Macaulay Honors College, with programs on eight campuses. They enter as first-year students, as do Baruch Scholars. Provost Scholars and Inquiry Scholars join the Honors Program in the course of studies at Baruch. Information on academic requirements for each of these groups is available on the Honors Program webpage.
We are excited to announce the inclusion of a transfer cohort into Macaulay Honors College. In Summer 2024, the Baruch Honors Program welcomed 24 current CUNY community college students via the Macaulay Bridge Scholars Program and the Macaulay Friedman Scholars. They were accepted into a special pipeline allowing greater access to Macaulay Honors College. These first students will officially matriculate at Baruch College in FA25. Once at Baruch, they will join the Macaulay Honors College cohort. Going forward, we anticipate approximately 3-5 new transfer students accepted each year.
