Hey guys, my name is Basm Mohsen, and since I just transferred from the College of Staten Island, it’s my first semester at Baruch and I have to say, I really like it here! I was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, but at the age of 6 I moved to Egypt and lived there for 3 years. I have to say, I hated it back then, as it was hard to adapt to a whole new culture and lifestyle at such a young age. As I got older though, I realized how significant the experience was, and now I’m beyond grateful for what I’ve learned in the 3 years of living there. My intended major is International Business with a minor in Finance which means lot’s of work to do for the next 2 years! I don’t mind though, it’ll hopefully pay off in the end. My favorite class so far has to be Psychology actually. I mean, I’m taking calculus, law, and business administration classes, Psychology wins hands down! I was actually originally a Biology major in my previous institution, so some of the terms we use in class are familiar to me, but it also brings back horrible memories of Chemistry and Physiology study sessions…yeah, not good! Anyways, I’m looking forward to spending the rest of the semester with you fine people, so enjoy it and make the best out of class!
Favorite artist? AJ Rafael! If you like to listen to good music that isn’t mainstream, give this guy a chance, you’ll like his music!
