My name is Helen Lien. I grew up in Brooklyn until the age of 11 when I moved to Philadelphia but ended up moving back to New York for college. I am a transfer student from St.Johns University so this is my first semester here at Baruch. The transition for me wasn’t too bad since I knew a bunch of people from my sorority, Kappa Phi Lambda. Being part of a Greek organization has definitely helped me be more sociable, more open-minded and grow as an individual. I love meeting new people so being part of Greek life opened many doors for networking. Some of my interests are singing, dancing, playing volleyball and badminton. shopping, traveling and just hanging out. I also very much love hugs, sparkles and mangoes. Psychology is not my intended major but is my favorite class this semester. I find the subject interesting although I do wish class didn’t start so early. I’m pretty sure my fellow classmates would agree with me!
