Hey there!

Hello everyone!!!!

My name is Jingan Hu. I know it is a hard name to pronounce, so just call me Joanne if you want. As you probably can tell by my name, I am Chinese and I was born in Shanghai, China. Actually, I came to the United States a little bit more than two years ago. This is my first semester at Baruch as a transfer student. I transferred from LaGuardia Community College. Since this is the first semester, my transfer evaluation has not yet been completed. Thus, I suppose I am still a freshman at the point. Although Accounting is my intended major, I am always interested in the field of psychology. I think it is just amazing how differently people would react to the same situation. I really enjoy talking to different people with different backgrounds just to see the difference. Math might be my favorite subject so far. (I guess you guys are probably thinking, What a surprise to know a Chinese who likes math! :))  In this semester, I made a super intense schedule; therefore, I do not have any time joining any clubs now, but I surely want to attend one later on.

Aside from works in school, I really love photography. However, I am just an amateur. Here is a photo that I took when I was in Shanghai. Please, do not make fun of my rookie camera technique. 😛
