Hello everyone

Hello classmates! My name is Louis Lee and this is my first semester at Baruch as a transfer student and I’m planning on majoring in Marketing or Accounting, still undecided at the moment. Prior to coming to Baruch College, I attended Queensborough Community College as a Business Administration major, and I also worked at QCC as a College Assistant. And before attending QCC, I actually went to Vancouver Film School and enrolled as a 3D Artist in order to fulfill my childhood dream. Unfortunately, the 3D industry is very weak at the moment and although I got into a few internships, I began to realize that this route wasn’t the best choice for me at that time.

To tell you a little bit more about myself, I was born in New York so you can consider me as an American but my nationality is Korean. I’ve spent almost my entire life in New York and also lived in Vancouver, Canada for 2 years, which was awesome! If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend going to Vancouver for a short vacation (or even long-term). My hobbies are made up of a few things, I like to snowboard during the winter, camping, fishing, or hiking during the summer, and do some 3D freelancing on the side if I do get some time.

As for my intended route at Baruch, I’m not planning on majoring in Psychology but I’ve always wanted to take this class because it’s always interesting to learn not only of humanistic qualities but also of myself as an individual. Since I’m a fairly new student at Baruch I don’t have any favorite classes thus far but something will surely stand out on its own. Lastly, I haven’t joined any student organizations/club but I will join one asap as I’ve done at QCC.

Thanks and good luck to everyone,

Louis Lee
