Commuting to school i wonder if it would be beneficial to dorm rather than to commute. If i were to conduct an experiment, i would consider time of commute and its effect on grades.
hypothesis: does commuting have a disadvantage to dorming?
dependen variable-grades
independent variable-time of commute
confounding variable-mount of study, prior knowledge, etc.
this would be a correlational study because it would compare the grades of commuters and dorming
the students would then take a test thus being a survey type research method.
