Hello there!

My name is Juan Aristizabal, and I have been in this country for almost 8 years. I am from Colombia and this is my fifth semester @ Baruch and my intended major is International Business. I am planning to double minor in Psychology and History.

I am a passionate, dedicated, and driven individual. I work at a Greek Restaurant as one of the floor Managers, and I have been working there for over 4 years. I am most definitely proud of what i have accomplished in such a short period of time from the moment I moved to this country. (Mind you, I did not speak a word of English until I came to America.)

Some of my hobbies are playing soccer, eating out, traveling and enjoying a few nice cold Coronas with my closest friends. My highest priorities are definitely my family, my friends and my education.

A video that expresses my passion would be this one … http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9foCJDVTbYg&feature=fvwrel

In here, some of the best goals in the history of soccer are shown, bringing back memories of world stars and showing why soccer is the most played/watched sport in the world.

I tend to read the New York Times to keep myself up to date with what goes on all over the world.

To finish it off, i believe that education and ambition are in my opinion crucial to being succesful in today’s world.

"Hey Natasha! Your brief introduction was very interesting! I think that a Polish and Dominican combination is actually pretty appealing. I am from Queens also and i have been working at a restaurant for quite a few years, so we definitely have a few things in common. I also like traveling, i recently visited DR (Punta Cana) and it was a great experience! Good Luck with everything and I wish you the best!"
