Hi everyone. My name is sharissa verastegui and I’m from Ecuador. I came to this country eight years ago with my family. I could say that I loved it here because I get to meet new people and new cultures. Right now I live in the Bronx.
Well, I transfer to Baruch College last semester and I’m planning to major in finance but That’s if I don’t change my mind !!. Before coming to Baruch College I was attending Lehman College as a business major. I was there for two years. I’m hoping to get the best education and experience here at Baruch College.
My favorite things to do is listen to music, watch movies and go to the gym, well sometimes !!!!!.

I think students will do better by splitting their focus on writing notes while listening because they are actually learning the material twice and will help them do better in exams and class and it will be reflected on their grades.
▪ What suggestions do you have for the researcher on how to improve or adjust the proposed study?
I would suggest the researcher to do an experimental study instead of giving surveys to students.

The fact that students might lie about their grades
▪ What would be the NEXT STEP after this hypothetical research study were conducted and presented to the public? Can you propose a replication with a good twist? That’s often how research works and how the field is able to advance. Maybe you can think up a great Follow Up study!
Well, I would split the class in half. One side of the class would only be listening to the professor and the other half would be listening to the professor and taking notes. I would give a small quiz right after and analyze which side did better. I think this way, the results are more accurate ."
