 Hi, my name is Arta Markaj. Im a sophomore  at branch. I was born in Peja, Kosovo. I came to the United States when I was ten years old because there was a war  . After the escape my life continued  in New York and I really started to comprehend what the “land of freedom” really meant. As I got older I jointed volleyball and soccer and had strong passion for art. My college life has been interesting, I look at every class as a new experience and something to have with me always not just aim for an “A” and forget everything after the semester is done. My favorite classes at branch were global history, philosophy , sociology and psychology . They really made me step out of the box and away from my comfort zone.

"hey, I agree what you said about diversity. It really is a mix of every culture and we get a taste of the world in one building lol I also love photography , I think its a different way of seeing the world depending on the angle of the shot. However; photoshop is killing the beauty of being natural . =P As far as 48 hrs in a day, I wish!!! time os flying to fast."
