Hello

I’m a sophomore here at Baruch..I actually took Psych with Sitt before but withdrew, and I’m still undecided on my major. Born and raised in Yorkville (UES) and so far Sitt’s psychology class is actually my favorite. Him and the new professor (sorry I forgot your name bro I know it starts with a Z) engage the class much more than the other classes I’ve been in. I do have Facebook but I’m rarely on it…I’m a big music fiend though so if listening to music can be considered a hobby, that’s one of mine.

"I like this study, mainly because I myself find that it better serves my memory when I handwrite something rather than typing it, whether I'm actually trying to learn it or not. This goes for almost anything, grocery list, reminders etc. My guess is that it's because your hand is actually writing the words and letters instead of simply pressing keys you've memorized or are looking at on a keyboard. I assume that the process of your brain actually thinking out and writing the words and letters better helps serve your memory, or at least in my case that's what I believe to be true. This is a good study to conduct, and I'd bet that you'd come across the people who handwrite their notes score better on the quiz in comparison to the people who type. Maybe not, but that's my guess due to my personal experience."
