Amount of holidays and misery level.

In this survey, we will examine the relationship between misery level (level of personal sense of happiness, fulfillment ,and satisfaction) and amount of
holidays.
Hypothesis: The more holidays you have, the happier you are.

A numerical misery index will be generated after reviewing the survey.
Part 2:Same group will be asked to provide the amount of holidays they have spent in the past 5 years.
The two studies will be examined ,providing evidence for  the relations between misery level and amount of holidays.

"1. After reading the reflection writer’s description, what do you think was happening to them during the meditation on a physiological level? I think that Mr. Zel became aware of his body and such attention shifted his anxiety. 2. Based on your readings throughout the semester, what areas of their central and peripheral nervous systems may have been effected during the meditation? I too, agree that the meditation experience Mr. Zel described has an effect on the parasympathetic nervous system. 3. What questions do you have for the writer about their experience? Mr. Zel, Does becoming aware of your own body and mind scare you at all? 4. Based on the description provided, would you be open to trying the same meditation exercise? No. I prefer not to. The purpose of Mr. Zel's meditation seems like a tool to temporarily shift his anxiety. I've meditated before and I doubt if meditation would be the choice for me. I personally doubt if I have the ability to suppress my thoughts, as Mr Zel mentioned above. Well, one the other hand, when I am depressed, or feel anxious, I choose to eat , binge eating. It might not be healthy but it works for me ."

"Imagine you are a longtime friend of the person who wrote one of the reflection pieces, and consider these issues for your own comment. 1. What is your reaction to the choices made by the author of this Reflection in terms of which memories they chose to keep and which memories they are discarding. I think the author over emphasized the outsiders role in his memory recovery. He mentioned that he would trust his mother but failed to mention how would he accept a "totaly stranger" being his mother. And also, you habits and hobbies might change after the memory loss. I think the author overlooked the odds the patient might encouter. (ok, i am being ciritical awwwww) 2. How would you feel if this friend did not remember you (imagining that you are their longtime friend)? I would feel pretty awesome! I mean, it gives you another chance to re friend with somebody that you were already friend with. 3. What role might you play in helping them reconstruct their memory? I plan to be an outsider. I don't think I would be interesting in reconstruting my friends memory. that is just too much for me. I am an emotional person and watching my friend going through what he goes through would be too bitter sweet for me . 4. Based on what you’ve learned in class and through your readings, what memory encoding, consolidation, and retrieval techniques might you use or teach to help this person recover and reintegrate their memories? Well, If I HAVE TO help my friend recover his memory. I would bring him the old stuff and bring him to the old places and see if he remembers anything. Again, this is a complicated issue and i really don't want to get involved under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES."

"Well, college is kind of Intimidating( iPad has spell check too, and u don't even have to click the ABC). I can't possibly see myself dressing in suit and tie and leather shoes ( being a PETA member myself) and walk down the park or wall soullessly during lunch break. If I had a choice , I would become a farmer in either Montana and Nebraska. Be friend with all my cow friends, raise my head, I can see the blue blue sky, lay my body down, the green green grass is my bed .... Imaging lunch break on the prairie .... I sometimes believe that I am an Amish trapped in an Asian body."
