I Just Came to Say Helloo =)

Hey, guys.  My name is Nusrat and I am a freshman here at Baruch.  I lived in Ditmars up till about seven years ago and I now live in Parkchester in the Bronx. I graduated from Townsend Harris High School.   My intended major was accounting when I applied for this school, but now, I might not be so sure.  Psychology is by far my favorite class.  Who knows, I might even switch my major to Psychology. ( My mother, however, argues that studying Psychology turns people psycho).   I don’t really know what else to say but good luck to everyone on the upcoming exam!

"I agree that having a laptop in front of you during class will have a negative effect on your grade. I feel that sometimes, even though you are trying hard to focus on what the professor might be saying, at a moment of weakness and boredom, you might be tempted to check updates on your facebook or see whats new on tumblr. Not only is a potential distraction for the owner of the laptop, but it also effects everyone sitting in the general area. I think that on a personal level, even though it might seem primitive at this day and age, handwriting your notes might be a better alternative if you want to keep your grades up."

"Hi, Abby! I think its really cool you're so involved in our school board. And haha. That day when we watched the video about the girl getting brain surgery was my least favorite psych class. I get a bit swirmish when I see stuff like that so imagine my horror when I was sitting front and center and without warning, a 10 ft image of someone's diseased brain pops up on the screen! Gag!!"
