I propose experimental type of design. I would use survey to conduct my experiment. The questionnaires may include questions on the advantages and disadvantages of the occupation choice based on the parents’ example. I would ask the people how successful they are at carrying out their job responsibilities. Does the job fulfill their expectations? Do they regret about their choice?
I propose to choose the alumni of our College for this experiment. The students who are making a decision about their future career may benefit from that. They will have the information how people are satisfied with their choices based on parents’ example.
Hypothesis: The majority of students make the decision regarding the future occupation based on their parent’s example.
In this experiment, independent variable is parents’ occupation and dependent variable is your own choice of profession.
One of the challenges of the design would be to figure out why students change the decision regarding the future occupation during the learning process.

"1. The author’s anxiety level dropped down from 5 to 2 after meditation. The author decided that happened because all assignments were done. But I think meditation also helped to reduce anxiety.
2. During the meditation, parasympathetic nervous system is affected. It helps to calm people. The somatic nervous system sends information from brain to muscles, helping them relax.
3 .My question is how does it possible to be focused on breathing during 30-minutes meditation? I tried Mindfulness Meditation (Vipassana). I thought about my problems during the meditation, and focused on my breathing only when voice reminded me.
4. The author felt exhausted after meditation, but I will try to do it. I’d like to have my own experience about this meditation." posted on Nov 30, 2011, on the post Meditation: Exhausting
"1. I am very happy that you are going to find school friends. I am the one of them and ready to help. The author thinks all memories are important but I do not. I won’t tell him about unpleasant events until he recalls them himself.
2. My friend is just the victim of an accident. As a longtime friend I will try to put myself in his shoes.
3. My role is the guide of his journey of recovering lost memory.
4. People remember visual images more easily. I will start with pictures and video. I am sure, as a longtime friend I should have the pictures and the videos of important events of our life such as birthday, high school graduation, travels. I will try to explain him what is happening there with emotions. When emotions are involved new information is stored much better. We can go over them with deep perception with purpose to send this information to the long-term memory. Of course, I remember that sleep plays an important role in memory consolidation. I’ll encourage him to go to sleep for at least 8 hours. From time to time I’ll ask him what he remembers from my stories." posted on Nov 4, 2011, on the post recoverying memory
