Hey!

Hey psy 1001! My name is Rebecca, but I prefer to go by my middle name Alexandra. I am a sophomore transfer from Marymount Manhattan College. I was born and raised in ‘the city where the heat is on all night on the beach till the break of dawn (bienvenido a Miami).’ In addition to being a student, I am a traveller and a dreamer. I enjoy fashion as much as good food. Sending positive vibes out to everyone!

"My father had an accident that resulted in retrograde amnesia. It caused him to lose his entire memory before the accident. Imagine! 50 years completely vanish from you. I agree with you in the fact one needs be surrounded by family and close friends. My father loves to spend time with family and close friends with the hope that this will aid for the light to turn back on. Not only did he lose his memory, but his emotions as well. It has been three years since the accident, and he has yet to retain any memory prior to the incident."

"Many people have problems with students using computers in class, feeling plagued by the takeover/distraction of technology. However, I have to disagree with your hypothesis from personal experience. I take my laptop to every class. It's convenient for neat notes and clear organization. I hardly ever find myself browsing the web during a lecture, but I'm one of the few."
