– the question i have for my research study design is “Are students more likely to do better on exams if they ONLY study their own personal notes or the PPT slides handouts?”
-I’m looking to observe the final grades of the students who studied their own personal notes or the PPT slides handouts.
-the research method i would use is a case study. I would also do a survey to see how many students prefer to study their own notes or the PPT slide notes.
-the grades are the dependent variable. The independent variables are the notes.
– I think that students who only study their personal notes will do better on exam than those who only study ther PPT slide handouts.
-the benefits would be for both the students an teachers. It’s benefical to the students because they can choose which notes to study is more successful in passing final exams. It’s benefical to teachers because they can decide whether to hand out PPT slides printouts knowing that its more successful in students passing their final exams or to allow students to write their own notes based off their lecture and board notes.
– In the beginning it was hard to come up with an experiment. I wanted to design an experiment invovling deaf people but it was hard to come up with one, so i came up with this experiment because i thought it could benefit both the teachers and students. I personally study my own notes when it comes to exams rather than the PPT slides handouts for each chapter. I didnt really face any challenges. It was more or less what I expected

Hello all, my name is Sheron Elliott and I am a junior. this is my first semester at Baruch, i transferred from The College of Staten Island. I was there for 2 years and will spend my remaining two years here at Baruch, majoring in Accounting. My experience here at Baruch has been good so far, the only thing I dislike is the crowdedness when class end,I’m not use to that, because CSI was a big campus (203 acres).
I was born at a manhattan hospital (St Vincent) but was raised in Brooklyn. I have 3 silbings (2 sisters and a brother). I also have a 10 month old nephew. My parents are both hearing impaired, so I am fluent in American Sign Language.
As far as hobbies, i really dont have much. I love to watch tv and listen to music.
I look foward to a wonderful semester here at Baruch and getting to know some of you as well.

"Really interesting story. Never heard of a football player doing yoga, so its great to hear that u got something out of it!!!
1.. After reading the reflection writer’s description, what do you think was happening to them during the meditation on a physiological level?
-I think on a physiological level, he started to cool/relax his mind first in order for his body to be in a completely relaxed state. In Yoga having a completely relaxed mindset and having your thoughts in order and calmed it really helps you focus on your body.
2. Based on your readings throughout the semester, what areas of their central and peripheral nervous systems may have been effected during the meditation?
-Endorphins are small, protein molecules that are produced by cells in your nervous system and other parts of your body. The endorphins will control all sorts of pain and all sorts of stress he may have as well as any tensions he may had had during football pratice.
3. What questions do you have for the writer about their experience?
-Do you think you you advice your fellow teammates to do Yoga???
4. Based on the description provided, would you be open to trying the same meditation exercise?
-Of course, it seems that he really enjoyed doing the yoga class because it really helped him relax his mind, body and spirit. I think that everyone should be able to have a day where they can have a completely relaxed mindset!!!"

After reading the reflection writer’s description, what do you think was happening to them during the meditation on a physiological level?
-i think yixin.zhangcen was very relaxed and calm. I think that yixinmind was able to connect with her body and it’s functions and to analyze her thoughts and while anaylzing was able to differientiate the different thoughts they were having.
. What questions do you have for the writer about their experience?

1. Well as far as my reaction to what you decided to keep or discard, it wasnt really mentioned, but I assume that, based on your post, that you want want to try and retrieve all the memory you can about yourself so you can gain a better understanding of who you are. I agree with that decision, because you want to be able to have all the facts in order to shape your future.
2. I would be profounded devestated if the person did not remember me!!! but at the same time I cannot be angry because it wasnt her fault. she didnt decide to forget who i was. it was because of the accident that she forgot out whole friendship. therefore i would just be there from that point on to rebuild the years we already established, and years, that unfortunately, would be remembered!!
3. the role i would play is by explaining to her the type of person she was to ME!!! and how i viewed her during our longtime relationship. i would also tell her many stories about our past, good and bad!!! maybe take her to places that we loved to hang out, and/or eat, relax.
4. i would play songs, bring her over to my house, watch certain movies that we loved, play games, eat certain foods, go to certain places. Engage in different activities that she loved. all of these things are steps i would take to reintergrate her memory!!!"
