Hi. My name is Shane and I’ve been a student here at Baruch for a few semesters. Honestly I’m going to try my best to share because I don’t do much social networking. One of my fears is speaking about myself in detail. I was always the quite shy kid. I went to the same private school for my entire academic career until coming to Baruch. I still live in the same small town where I was raised. Located right above the Hudson River with New York City for a daily view.

Psychology is not my intended major at Baruch but I must admit it is very interesting especially the section on the brain. I’ve got my eyes set on an MBA in the future. I’d like to build my own business. So far my favorite class has been believe it or not, Physics. So far I’m still enjoying the college experience being exposed to so many new ideas. I still haven’t had the chance to join any clubs or anything. The only thing I don’t like is homework like most people.

My interests started out with music, after I took piano lessons I had a passion for music more than anything. Then I got my first computer around age nine and that became my new interest just how they worked and how to manipulate a computer to do exactly what you wanted it to do. My latest passion is photography, which started after my father passed who was into photography. It started out as my way of coping with losing him but soon turned into my way of making some pocket change here and there. The best part about it is being able to look at a picture and remember everything in the moment. It’s almost like time traveling.
