Research:The Behavior Of Consumers In Tablet Market

1. What area of interest/research question do you wish to explore through a research study design?

My research question is: What is the most important factor for consumers to purchase a tablet in the market, price or brand?

2. What variables or concepts are you looking to observe and/or manipulate?

The variable I’m looking to observe is the sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Ipad monthly and quarterly.

3. What type of design would best suit your research question?

In my research, correlational design would best suit my question.

4. What research method would you use to conduct your experiment?

The research method I will use to conduct my experiment is survey.

5. If applicable, what would you put as you independent and dependent variable?

If applicable, I will drop the price of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to $199, that’s my independent variable, and the dependent variable is the sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab are greater than Ipad.

6. Give a hypothesis about what you think you might find.

I might find that the sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 have great increase after the price drop to $199.

7. What might be the benefits and implication of this study?

The consumers might be the benefits of this study.

8.What were the challenge you faced? Was this more/less difficult than you expected? How?

The challenges I would face are cost and profits. This was more difficult than I think. Because the cost of producing a Galaxy Tab 10.1 was over $200, If they were selling for $199, they wouldn’t gain any profit from it. It might happen after they lower the producing cost in the future.

"1. What is your reaction to the choices made by the author of this Reflection in terms of which memories they chose to keep and which memories they are discarding? My reaction is that's a good idea for the author to recovering his/her memory. But i get a better idea. The author should talk with his/her relatives or friends often, and view all the author's pictures in the past, that will help the author better to recovering his/her memory. Also, he/she should discarding those negative or unhappy memories in his/her past time. 2. How would you feel if this friend did not remember you (imagining that you are their longtime friend)? I feel a little disappoint if he/she did not remember me,but I will try my best to help he/her to remember positive, good memory. 3.What role might you play in helping them reconstruct their memory? I 'm like a compass to help him/her to recollect all his/her positive, good memory step by step. 4. Based on what you’ve learned in class and through your readings, what memory encoding, consolidation, and retrieval techniques might you use or teach to help this person recover and reintegrate their memories? Based on what I have learn in class and through my readings, I will use memory ecoding to help this person recover and reinterate their memories."
