This year’s Women’s History Month theme, Overcoming Obstacles!, speaks directly to the experience of women artists in Latin America and the Caribbean. The rich and diverse cultures of the region owe a tremendous debt to these creative and resilient women who mastered the magic of transforming their struggles into art.
