Women’s History Month Opening Ceremony: Transforming Struggles into Art: A “Tiny Zoom Concert” with YancyAbril
This year’s Women’s History Month theme, Overcoming Obstacles!, speaks directly to the experience of women artists in Latin America and the Caribbean. The rich and diverse cultures of the region owe a tremendous debt to these creative and resilient women who mastered the magic of transforming their struggles into art. As part of the Opening Ceremony for Women’s History Month at Baruch, ISLA is proud to present a “tiny Zoom concert” and conversation with Yancy Abril. Join us as we kickoff Women’s History Month!
