museum

When entering the Rubin Museum of Art, the staff was glad to see a Baruch student enter. Everyone in the museum seemed to be happy as well, maybe since most people were in the cafe. While going up the spiral staircase i stopped at the second floor to see the Himalayan art and was surprised to see the most sculptures were of women, since historically speaking men are usually superior. When i took a closer look at the Buddhist paintings, most looked similar and depicted a man meditating while being protected by mystical beings around them. Maybe that represents their form of eternal life. When i finally decided to look all the way up on the stair case and smell the aroma of the cafe, i did not feel anything just hunger.
