Baruch Behaviors

My name is Joseph Santos Mercieca. I am 18 years old and a current freshman in Baruch College. I am half Puerto Rican and half Maltese. Born and raised in Manhattan, New York not so far from Baruch itself rather only 3 blocks away. From the way I have been raised and brought up college was not very stressed. School was pushed as a young child but once it came to high school it was my choice on where i wanted to attend whether public or private. I chose an all boy catholic school downtown in the Lower East Side of Manhattan called La Salle Academy. I made that choice because I wanted to focus on my work and better myself as opposed to having complete freedom in a public institution and may turn out to become more unstructured and wild. Since now going to an all boy catholic high school I am more structured than most. So I would say that my strengths are that I am outspoken not afraid to say what i need to say whether i am being very blunt about it or not. Another strength can be is that i am organized but on the contrary of that i do get distracted by certain figures and people so sometimes i do get off track and end up putting off my work till later. So you can say procrastination is a weakness yet i do get my work done nonetheless so as I see it as long as I’m getting the work done and on time that is the most important thing. Also when it comes to certain times I can begin to get lazy due to lack of sleep or bad mood of whatever the case may be so I end up putting the work off because of that. All in all everyone does have their faults. Yes mine are laziness and procrastination but that doesn’t mean I do not do my work I do do it just at a later time. I should learn to do my work a little bit earlier though just because they say I may do better work but when it comes down to my work my work is still done well but I am going to try to see a difference in my work.
