World News Project

WORLD NEWS PROJECT

For your final project, we will be looking the state of the news media in different countries around the world. Three students will be assigned to each of the countries I have listed below. Each student will be responsible for writing a three- to four-page paper on one of three sections that are specified below. You will hand in that paper during class on Wednesday, Dec. 9. During that class on Dec. 9, each group of three students will make a 10-minute presentation (total for all three) on their research. You can create a short PowerPoint  presentation, or find other ways to visualize your presentation by showing links, photos and/or short videos. Please take a look at the list and think about what country you’d like to be assigned to. We will make final assignments during class on Wed., Nov. 25.

Here are some organizations where you can start your research. Please include sources in your paper.
