  1. I think you have a lot of very good photos in your presentation. The quotes you got from Ms. Gomez are excellent and they sum up what established residents of the LES feel about the gentrification of the area.
I encourage you to redo some of your captions. I know that you are passionate about your neighborhood and you’re troubled about the changes that are occurring there. I don’t like the Blue building either. But remember that you are a journalist reporting for those of us who don’t live down there. The quotes will tell the story just fine. Be careful not to editorialize; remember you’re reporting. Objectivity is key. Grammar is as well.
Your slideshow has a lot of potential. All it needs is a little more polish.

    Good luck!!

  2. My apologies. Your interview was with Ms. Guzman, not Ms. Gomez. I should have double checked before I hit send. The editors will have my job for this!! Sorry.

  3. well she was saying how even though it is a slideshow there should still be a story. I thought this would be a good one because otherwise it would just be me saying “here is this and here is that” which is really boring. Thanks for the advice. Good luck to you too. Although im sure you dont need it.
