Our brief report has just been published by The Journal of Graduate Medical Education, the official publication of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Our study used archival data from the National Resident Match Program (NRMP) to demonstrate trends in new generations of physicians. Specifically, it shows that applicants to residency are increasingly valuing diversity. I am especially excited about this work as it helps quantify the worth of diversity in medicine.
