Jonathan Ward is a sophomore finance major at Baruch College in New York. He works as a manager of a digital media enterprise and marketer for the William, Deveraux, and Ward financial advisory firm, subsidiary of First Allied Securities.

He gained an interest in the history of New York City from an economic stand point. To find a reason as to why New York City became the so-called “economic capitol of the world” whereas no other city contends the title. Under the supervision of Professor Michael Miller, this site provides the results of such questioning and is a compilation of sources and information found detailing the topic.
