Undocumented Chapters 3-4

During this difficult period of vulnerability for the family, Dan-el’s only refuge was a meager library. Jeff, a young volunteer met Dan-el and was struck by Dan-el’s passion for books and focus on learning. With Jeff’s help, Dan-el was accepted on scholarship to Collegiate, the oldest private school in the country.

Undocumented continues as a story about a quest for knowledge and the right to education. It is also a book that intervenes in the debate over comprehensive immigration reform.
