I am a student who came to the United States from different world, named Russia. Being a part of very different educational system, I struggled to find a way to deliver my thoughts and ideas to my fellow students, peers and professors when it came to in class presentations. Why? Simply, because we never used presentation slides in our classrooms back in Russia. However, I found a way to get appreciation and recognition from the audience. Here I want to share my views and ideas of how I got my recognition. It was a long way for me to find a balance between using visual aids and actual talking in front of the class.
