Looking for a fun activity to do with friends and family but don’t want to break the bank trying? The Escape the Room is the perfect activity for you to try out. At about $30 per person it is the just the right cure for getting out of the house and doing something fun. Even if you don’t have a big group you will be teamed up with other groups who visit the same time as you do and you can all play together. A mix between a thrilling adventure as well as a puzzle game it is great for people who like hands-on experiences. The Chelsea location has 8 themed rooms to choose from, which all vary in how many people it can accommodate. Rooms such as The Submarine, The Office, The Clock Tower and Jurassic Escape will keep you on your toes each time. When you enter the room you get a quick overview of the mission at hand and what you have to do to Escape the Room. Then you and your teammates get locked in the room and the 1 hour timer starts counting down. You and your teammates have to work together to find clues, hints, and solve puzzles that will eventually lead to the way to escape the room. If you get stuck you can ask for hints from your room master who will help you out, but don’t rely on them too much. As you solve your way through the room, one hint will lead to another and you will get to the last puzzle. Solve the puzzle and you get the key to your escape. Don’t solve all the puzzles in time and you lose the game. Will the odds be in your favor? Visit the Escape Rooms in Chelsea to try your luck.
